they’re about understanding the architecture of your life so you can rebuild it on your own terms.
Your astrology chart is a map, not a cage. A guide to your soul’s terrain, the rivers you will have to cross, the mountains you need to trek, the resources and skills you need to build and the weather systems you will inevitable face.
When you can read the map, you stop wandering in circles. You can determine which direction you need to head towards. You will stop blaming yourself for the rain, and learn to seek shelter from it or to dance in it. To me this is liberation.
Burn the script they gave you. We’ve been conditioned to believe in lies, serving the same master: control.
Colonialism, capitalism, and rigid social systems have taught us that extremes keep us trapped. Our astrology systems can help us understand the underlying currents that may have influenced our lives. They show timing of the tides, and help us to remember our strengths and the shadows that we need to transform.
Knowing and understanding these energies aren’t bowing down to fate, instead its calling your power back.
Tools for the disinherited. For those of us cut off from ancestral lands and lineages, these systems are more than intellectual curiosities. It’s reclamation work. Every chart reading is an act of remembering: Your ancestors understood these cycles. You carry their sky in your body. No pressure though. lol
This is why I read charts to place the compass back in your hands.
With time, and practice we stop asking why me? Am I being punished?
And maybe instead we start asking - How can I honor my time instead of fighting it, what choices open up more breath? The answers will never fit neatly. They’re lived in the body, integrated in the spirit, and enacted in the choices you make tomorrow morning.
Liberation doesn’t mean erasing the lines on the map. It means learning how to walk it, knowing the path was always yours.
